Industry Partners only collects personal and sensitive information
from you for the primary purpose of carrying out its business activities
and functions. Information is only obtained by lawful and fair means.
We collect our
information from you directly by means of our application form that we
ask you to complete, your resume that we ask you to submit or our change
of details – missing details form. Other means of collecting information
may include contacting your referees for a reference and making
enquiries of your former employers, work mates, supervisors and
employment or labour hire agencies. Your personal information may also
be collected from results of medical and performance testing, records of
workplace injuries or accidents in which you are involved and
certificates of educational qualifications. In some cases we may request
reports from insurance or criminal investigations.

Disclosure
Industry Partners Pty Ltd may use or disclose your personal information
for the purpose of seeking employment for you, assessing your
performance, assessing your suitability for employment or locations that
have specific requirement. Your personal information will only be used
or disclosed for the primary purpose for which it is collected except
where required by law or with the written consent of the individual.

Quality
Industry Partners Pty Ltd takes reasonable steps to make sure the
personal information we collect and disclose at the time of application
is accurate, complete and up to date. If you believe this personal
information is no longer accurate, complete or up to date please advise
us immediately.
4. Data Security
Industry Partners Pty Ltd takes reasonable steps to protect the
personal information it holds from misuse and loss and from unauthorised
access, modification or disclosure. At such time when we no longer need
your personal information it will be destroyed or de-identified
permanently.
5. Openness
This document is available to any person who supplies us with
personal information or to any person who requests it. Upon request an
individual can get more information about the management of their
personal information.
6. Access &
Correction
As an applicant for employment you can access and correct the
personal information we hold about you. You can contact us with your
request by email, fax, phone or mail. See our contact details in section
1. Your identity will need to be confirmed before any information can be
accessed or corrected. Personal information of employees of Industry
Partners Pty Ltd is part of our employment records and is the property
of Industry Partners Pty Ltd. The National Privacy Principles do not
apply to employment records but any employee who has questions about
their details or records should contact us.

Identifiers
Industry Partners Pty Ltd does not use identifiers for individuals
used by the Commonwealth Government e.g. Medicare, Centrelink, and
passport numbers. This does not prevent us from viewing the documents to
establish the identity of an individual.
8. Anonymity
Wherever it is practicable and lawful individuals have the option of
not identifying themselves when entering transactions with Industry
Partners Pty Ltd.
9. Trans-border Data Flow
Industry Partners Pty Ltd does not have cause to transfer personal
information overseas at the moment.

Sensitive Information
Sensitive information may include information about any criminal
records or health issues. Sometimes this information may be important to
a particular position. In most cases sensitive information of this
nature may only be collected or disclosed with your consent or if
