Our team has spent decades inside Australian factories, and there is one thing that surprises almost every business we visit for the first time.
Compressed air, the infrastructure running quietly in the background of nearly every production line, can account for up to 30% of a factory’s energy bill. Most operators running ageing equipment have no idea how much they’re overspending, every single shift.
It’s a problem we’ve been solving since 1976. After 50 years of delivering industrial compressed air solutions across Australia, we know exactly where the money goes and how to stop it from leaking.
Behind every workshop running on compressed air was a system. And when that system underperformed, everything stopped at real cost.
“Just one day of downtime for a medium- to major-sized operation can cost them as much as buying an entirely new compressor,” says Jake Bulloch, Key Accounts Manager. “That’s why designing systems for success, and being there fast when something goes wrong, is at the core of what we offer.”
That shift in thinking from fixing tools to engineering the infrastructure behind them became the foundation on which the next fifty years were built.
There’s a difference between a supplier and a solutions provider. We’ve always been solutions-focused.
Every industrial compressed air solution we design starts with understanding your operation: workshop layout, tool demand, air quality standards, output volumes, and energy targets. The system we build is engineered around your business, not bolted onto it.
By 1999, the business had outgrown its original Blacktown premises. The move to Jamisontown was not only a change of address, but it was also a signal of where the industry was heading and what Focus Industrial needed to become.
The new warehouse gave us the capacity to launch our own compressor line at the same time as rotary screw technology was shifting in the industry to become more and more cost-effective for the average workshop.
Our reach has grown from those early days in Blacktown to a footprint that covers the coast, runs inland across New South Wales, and extends to a satellite operation in Melbourne. We now service operations from Byron Bay to Adelaide and nearly everything in between.
Behind that footprint is a 24/7 same-day breakdown callout service and a dedicated team of technicians who keep operations running across food packaging, timber processing, mining, recycling, and virtually every form of manufacturing.
Our complimentary system assessments consistently reveal energy savings that operators never knew existed. No obligation required, just get a clear picture of what your compressed air setup is costing today, and what it could cost instead.
Our global technical partnerships have deepened our knowledge base over the decades, but our focus has always been local. Australian businesses, Australian industries, and Australian conditions. Every industrial compressed air solution we design is built for the environment in which it operates.
From our base in Jamisontown, we offer sales, installation engineering, and servicing from Byron Bay to Adelaide, with a satellite operation in Melbourne and a team of emergency repair technicians available around the clock.
