What’s Inside This Edition

A Message from Our CEO

At the time of writing we find ourselves in a very unstable and disruptive period that will undoubtedly have a significant impact on Australian businesses.

The challenges facing organisations will undoubtedly be heightened, whether related to product and raw material availability, workforce capability and planning, or maintaining critical assets. No single organisation has all the answers, which is why collaboration and shared learning are more important than ever.

Industry Partners Australia exists to bring industry leaders together to share knowledge, exchange ideas, and learn from real-world experiences. By connecting professionals across sectors, we create a trusted environment where members can discuss challenges openly, explore best practices, and discover practical solutions that can be applied within their own organisations.

This newsletter is part of that commitment—keeping our community informed, highlighting insights from members, and sharing opportunities to engage with the broader network.

Together let's keep Australia moving.

Thank you for being part of the Industry Partners Australia

Thank You to Our Loyal Members

At Industry Partners Australia, our community is built on the commitment and engagement of our members. This quarter, we’re proud to celebrate those organisations who have been part of our network for 5, 10, 15, and 20 years. Your ongoing support strengthens Australian industry, fosters collaboration, and inspires the next generation of connections. Thank you for being a valued part of our journey.

 Connections That Count

One of the key ways Industry Partners Australia supports our members is by creating meaningful connections. This quarter, we’ve helped members connect with specialists, peers, and industry leaders to explore solutions, share expertise, and collaborate on operational and organisational challenges. Here’s a snapshot of some of the connections we’ve facilitated recently.

📌 Industry Connection: Chemical Manufacturing & Explosives

When a chemical manufacturing organisation needed expert guidance on PHA (Process Hazard Analysis) training for Major Hazard Facilities, IPA stepped in. We connected them with a member company from the explosives sector, ensuring their team had access to the right knowledge and resources to meet their safety and operational goals.

📌 Industry Connection: Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

A pharmaceutical organisation was exploring outsourcing facilities management for non-production areas. IPA connected them with two member companies who currently manage these services, allowing them to learn from real-world experience and make informed decisions.

📌 Industry Connection: Explosives & Industrial Operations

A member company wanted to enhance their processes through Value Stream Mapping. IPA connected them with an ICA specialist, giving them practical insights and expert guidance to drive efficiency improvements across their operations.

Giving & Receiving Feedback
It is a critical skill of any leader to be able to give constructive feedback, whether it is telling someone they have done a great job, or conversely areas they can improve on. Generally giving and receiving feedback is something that has to be learned, trial and error has no place in this leadership skill set.
