This presentation will examine the digital transformation journey BlueScope Steel is undertaking. In it, we will explain the multi-faceted approach that has been taken with both top-down and grass roots programs running concurrently and the need for such an approach in a large, diverse company. The presentation will then explore the foundational enablers that have been developed for digital transformation programs in our manufacturing industries. These will be illustrated with examples drawn from digital transformation activities that have been undertaken at the Port Kembla and Westernport operating sites.
