What is the IPA National Conference?
The IPA National Conference is a two-day industry event open to everyone — IPA members, non-members, industry professionals, vendors and guests.
Held away from major city centres, the Conference creates an opportunity to step away from the everyday work environment and spend two days learning, connecting and sharing ideas with people from across industry.
Each National Conference is built around a central theme, explored through keynote presentations, expert-led sessions and networking.
The program generally includes:
- Keynote speakers bringing exceptional expertise, experiences or perspectives — including business, industry and motivational speakers
- More than 20 guest presenters and industry experts across the two days
- Multiple presentation streams running concurrently, allowing attendees to choose the sessions most relevant to them
- Opportunities to meet and connect with other attendees, presenters and industry vendors
- An evening cocktail and canapé function designed for relaxed networking and conversation
With multiple streams generally running throughout each day, attendees can create their own Conference experience by choosing the presentations and discussions most relevant to their role, interests or current challenges.
The evening function is also an important part of the Conference experience, providing time to unwind and build connections away from the formal program.
Who can attend? Everyone is welcome. You do not need to be an IPA member to attend the National Conference.
How often is the National Conference held? The IPA National Conference is generally held once every two to three years. It's not an event that comes around every year, so when registrations open, it's worth making the most of the opportunity — otherwise, it may be a few years before the next one.
Is there a cost to attend? Yes. The National Conference is a separately priced event and registration fees apply. Current pricing and inclusions are provided when registrations open.
Travel and accommodation are not included in the registration fee. Attendees are responsible for arranging and paying for their own travel and accommodation separately.
