Courage - The real key to leadership

Courage for me is one the most understated traits of great leaders; we liberally discuss many other areas of leadership, but it takes courage to:

• Stand out from the crowd
• Have confidence in your own ability, and others around you
• Make the unpopular decisions
• Not compromise personal values
• Admit your mistakes
• Seek feedback to improve yourself

At the end of each day ask yourself; "did I show courage today to do the hard things?"   

If your answer was "NO"; just try a little harder tomorrow.....
