A Message from Our CEO
These are very confusing times in the Australian economy, and to be honest it depends on who you listen to. At IPA, we see some sectors showing continued growth and expanding businesses, while others are finding things tough. With 15 years in this business it has always been the same.
What differentiates successful entities is the investment they place in their people. Keep them engaged, and create a learning and safe environment. They will flourish...
IPA membership comprises some of the finest organisations in Australia, all of whom have a strong philosophy of continuing to invest in their people, for that I say Thank you...
The Operations team is working tirelessly to put together a balanced set of events driven by our membership needs, for the rest of the year and into 2027. Great work, guys. These events are only part of the total offering. In the past six months, one area has come to the fore: members are regularly reaching out looking for ways to solve today's problems. We are very proud that we have an incredible network of professionals and partners to whom we can direct these requests. So do not miss out: give us a call or drop an email and use the network.
Recently, we saw Les Wingham our COO retire after 15 years with the team. I worked closely with Les over these years to build a business that continues to deliver significant benefits to industry. He has been a mentor, coach and friend. I know he will not rest in retirement and is already working on a project close to his heart, so good luck and enjoy.
As always, between onboarding new members, engaging partners, and driving incredible events the team remains busy and dedicated, delivering a great product for you to enjoy.

10 Years with IPA ⭐
Sam celebrated 10 years with IPA – an incredible milestone and a reflection of her dedication, capability and the care she brings to everything she does. From supporting our growing events and Evolve programs to being a valued part of the IPA team, Sam has made an enormous contribution, and we congratulate her on this wonderful achievement!
IPA Seasonal Closure 🎄
As the year comes to a close, the IPA team will be taking a well-earned break, with our office closing from Monday, 21 December 2026 and reopening on Monday, 11 January 2027. We wish all our members and their families a safe and enjoyable festive season and look forward to reconnecting in the new year!
