In today’s progressively volatile and uncertain world, the innate “ability to adapt” cannot be deemed as a given.
Traditional power generation industry has been heavily impacted by rapidly fluctuating energy landscape. With operational footing within the annals of mid-20th century, both in terms of hardware and its people, it has faced an existential crisis on its ability to adapt. Inability to transform early and promptly, has meant many generators have written off their large immobile assets, announcing early closures, disclosing their failures in the realm of transformation.
AGL identified this early and developed a Business Transformation program, allowing a step change in the way it managed and operated its assets, underwritten by a serious shift in our people’s mindset and expectations.
