Welcome to the June 2022 edition of the Industry Partners Australia newsletter.
There is always something new happening in IPA. This quarter is no different; lots of events, new members, and specialist partners are coming on board, but most importantly, the return of live events and business discussions.
Video communication certainly has its place; for one thing, it is more efficient; I can run an event in the morning and talk to 3 or 4 customers in the afternoon, which is definitely not achievable travelling around town in a car.
But there is still nothing like meeting face to face and seeing people's body language, sharing information in an interactive discussion and generally enjoying meeting people and creating new relationships. We have several live events coming up on the calendar, so get back out there and start enjoying the camaraderie and knowledge building near you. For those that enjoy the efficiency or are too far to travel, we will continue to offer a number of online events and webinars in the future.
Whatever your preference, be involved in your industry by attending an IPA event and giving something back through sharing information and experiences.

Do you have effective problem solvers in every area of your business?
Commencing July, IPA will launch our Critical Thinking for Problem Solving 1-Day workshop.
We recognise that there are multiple methodologies for solving problems, each with their own benefits and downsides. Too often, trainers concentrate more on the method and less on the effective facilitation of the process. Research has shown that the skills associated with critical thinking are vital to achieving an effective outcome.
It is well recognised that the ability to "think critically" falls within the top five skills for the future.
Critical thinking when problem-solving is a learned behaviour that will benefit your business and your valued employees.
Our 1-day program encompasses facilitation of problem-solving, bias recognition, developing problem clarity, logical reasoning, solution generation and selection techniques.
We have created an interactive and enjoyable format that allows participants to learn in an open and engaging environment.
We will guide participants in developing their skills because we passionately believe that problem solving is an opportunity, not an imposition.
Our educators have practical problem-solving experiences to draw upon. In addition, we have seen first-hand how important correct problem-solving facilitation is to creating success.
Please join us in creating better problem solvers within your business.

New MILESTONE
The Evolve2 Leadership Program reached a new milestone this quarter with 200 different companies and over 800 participants since 2015.
Evolve2 Leadership has been so successful over the years with our membership, targeting emerging leaders and giving them the skills to effectively lead people at all levels. The program takes participants through an intensive six session program, with participants gaining skills around:
- What it means to be a leader
- How to effectively manage change in the workplace
- Becoming a great communicator
- Giving & receiving feedback
- Time management
- Project skills
The program culminates with a presentation morning, which their senior leaders and mentors attend; this is always an exciting time for the participants; however, the key is the comradery they gain through the program with the other 15 participants and the real impact they can have in their workplace.
READERS CLUB
Up next in the Readers Club is Ishan Galapathy's ADVANCE: 12 Essential Elements to Supercharge Productivity & Profitability. A complete step-by-step guide to improving your business's productivity, performance, and profitability.

Member Focus
New Members
At Industry Partners Australia, we are always excited when new members join the family. We want to take this opportunity to introduce the following companies. Please be sure to make them welcome at your next IPA event.
MEMBER REFERRALS
Being a member of IPA has many benefits, one being the ability to learn from other member companies within our network. We find it extremely rewarding to facilitate these connections, enabling this resource.
If you have any business issues that need to be resolved, remember that other companies have more than likely been through the same challenges and can help point you in the right direction. Please reach out to your IPA contact to see if we know of someone who can potentially help.
Solutions begin with a conversation!
